William Kelly Thorndike is an American artist born in Rockland, Maine in 1963. Having grown up on the Saint George peninsula has proven to have a strong influence on his creative work. Small coastal towns like Rockland, Tenants Harbor and Thomaston have all provided a frame for Kelly's work that is now focused steadily on the landscape, wildlife, food, rivers, coasts and watersheds of Maine.
